So... Ok. I'm sorry that it has taken so long to post since i've been back from France. Its been a little hectic Chez Vee..
And here is the story of my lovely week in France.. My regular Blog readers will now that disaster has a habit of following me around, but i think this time its is really glued to me!
So.. Picture me about 9 days ago, rained on, DIY shopped out, and scalded, when i get a last minute invitation to go to France and be Vee GFE for a week. A lovely chateau to stay in, good food, wine, fresh air, and most importantly some excellent company to hang out with and have some naughtiness...
My answer God yes! Good Answer huh!!
So, i carefully pack my suitcase, suitable clothes for warm days out doors, sensible shoes for walking around, and then all my lovely lingerie, my 2 most treasured corsets and nice clothes and shoes for the evening..
Plus a couple of extra things to make the trip even better.....
Airport- arrived in plently of time, all happy happy joy joy, only to find i was bumped off the flight due to earlier disruption. The desk i was left at to be dealt with took SOOOO long dealing with other people, that by the time i burst into tears and begged them to deal with me, it was nearly too late. I had 10 minutes to get through security and down to the gate before the gate closed! And yes.. HUGE queue at security, despite having a fast track sticker, so at the time the gate was supposed to close, i was still in the queue getting frantic. Another semi tearful moment begging, saw me brought to the front, and handsearched, and making a run for the gate..
Where they were still in mid flow- so i neednt have stressed! Was told as i went through i actually had a business class seat due to the earlier problems, YAY!! So on to the plane and a glass of bubbly to celebrate..
I celebrated too soon...
Got to the other end, and knew my bag should have been one of the last to go on, so should be the first to come off...
And when it didnt appear fairly quickly, got that sinking feeling... Went to the counter and yes, you guessed it folks, My bag, was still in London, and no, they had no idea when it would arrive!
At this point feeling mildly hysterical, i went outside to meet my charming companion for the week, who gave me a huge smile and a big hug. Just what a girl needed. xxx
Anyway.. what followed was 6 days of ringing the number i was given at least once a day, and being given various stories, "yes, your bag will come tomorrow", "its now in paris, you'll have it tomorrow", "no, its not in paris, its still in london", "its coming by road to france, it will arrive tonight", "its being sent by road, but hasnt left yet"... And finally on the last day when i was leaving France for the UK "ahh, good news, your bag it is in London, we are sending it to Italy by road, and then we will send it back to you". ARRRRRRRRRGGGHHH.
Guess what... My bag, it is still somewhere on the road between Italy and london!! Over a week after i checked it in!
So how did i cope with no bag? Well, with strange calmness, and the occassional stress out when talking to idiot call centre people about it! Luckily my very charming companion was lovely about it, and offered lots of hugs and even ran me a soothing bath one particularly cross evening! And looked after me spectacularly well, in any way you can think of.. MMMMMMM. lucky me!! Lots of naughty fun in private, and a bit of cheeky public naughtiness too! Bad Vee!!
So here i am, back in Uk, still no bag, but i DID enjoy my trip, and the lesson i learnt. Dont check your bag in!
I'll let you know when the bag arrives!
Looking forward to seeing you soon, having a whole week to be naughty, and 5 whole overnights in a row, seems to have agreed with me.. And i want some more!
